Labuh

Menadah,
Memandang langit,
Menunduk,
Termenung kosong,
Bersujud,
Berguguran,
Yang jatuh,

Air mata.

p/s:Tajuk 'labuh' merupakan inspirasi daripada perkataan bahasa iban 'labuh' yang bermaksud jatuh.

This Is My Story

I am an ordinary girl,
Live in an extraordinary place,
With brilliant people beside me,
At home where I wish I would die here too,
This is my story,
Where Malaysia standing in the eyes of the world,
And I am glad to tell the audience that I live with many types of different ethnics,
But still in the harmonious state,
While our gaze look the same,
Our prayers unite us together,
I am glad that we have so many state in one country,
Where the Chinese learn to speak Bahasa,
And the Bumiputera learn to understand Chinese,
And the Tamil speaks more than 2 language every day,
I am proud of my country,
That I can eat keropok lekor as my daily snacks,
Play galah panjang as my daily exercise,
Gossiping with my girls from different religions,
Watch the sunset at the beautiful beach with white crystal clear water and sand,
I am happy to be here,
This is my story,
An ordinary story but an extraordinary life,
That I have been live every day,

for the rest of my life.

To Sarawak With Love

p/s: I have wrote this poem as a part that will represent Malaysia for some book publication and I choose to wrote about a place that I lived now, which is Sarawak.Sarawak is a state among 14 others states in Malaysia :-) This is a writing about my beloved home,Sarawak.

I am Sarawakian,
Where Chinese mix Iban races were called CI+BAN,
Where the beautiful Chinese girl were called lenglui,
Where the beautiful Bidayuh girl were called dayung sangon and the beautiful Iban girl were described as Indu bajik,
Where the Kelabit looks like Lunbawang and Lunbawang looks like Kayan,
Where the Melayu Sarawak can speak in Iban and Chinese at the same time,
Where the Melanau was the only ethnics that used bin and binti while they are Christian,
Where the Pesta Benak and Pesta Kaul was the number one festival that we wait for it every year excitingly,
I am Sarawakian,
Where Kolok Mee and Laksa Sarawak was our main dishes here,
I am Sarawakian,
Where church and mosque were build next to each other,
I am Sarawakian,
Where all of us here can fluently speak more than 4 languages,
I am Sarawakian,
Where the Malay go to Chinese house when The Lunar Year come,
Where the Chinese go to Malay house when Hari Raya come,
Where the Malay and Chinese go to Iban house when Hari Gawai come,
Where the Malay, Chinese and Iban go to Christian Bumiputera when Christmas Day come,
Where all the Muslims, Buddha and Christian hang out together going to the Mall, Cinema and Food Court without ashamed with each other,
I am Sarawakian,
Where we lived next to each other and shared our food by exchanged our container,
I am Sarawakian,

When people leave this place and said that “I am leaving home”.

Lost and Found

Once upon a time,
I am lost in the middle of the city,
Where the buildings are taller than the giraffe,
And the lights shine all day.
Once upon a time,
I found my way back home,
Where Mommy cook nice meals,
and Daddy watch the news headline of the day.
Once upon a time,
I am my way to go to school,
Where cycling is for boys,
and walking is for girls.
Now,
In presence time,
I am my own enemy,
When I am lost in the world of material that I have found.

Jomblo

Sendirian,
Apa hinanya?
Perempuan sial,
Kata mereka.
Wanita terlajak,
Sindir mereka.
Tapi,
Terkakah ketawa,
Yang solo ini,
Tidak sudi telanjang mendepani cermin hipokrasi,
Dibayangi plastik eksploitasi,
Dalam lekuk badan,

Dan rupa.
